Anthony Soohoo is a seasoned executive in technology, AI, and digital transformation with over 25 years of experience. His diverse background includes roles as CEO, Fortune 100 executive, entrepreneur, and global board director at world-class companies such as Walmart, CBS, Yahoo!, and Apple. He has a demonstrated track record of guiding a range of companies through the complexities of hyper-growth and digital transformations.
As EVP at Walmart, Anthony led the multi-billion-dollar home division, which operated at the scale and complexity of a Fortune 100 company. At CBS, Anthony led the company through a period of digital transformation and hyper-growth with the launch of their first over-the-top streaming service in early 2008. This initiative catapulted CBS.com to become the largest television network online in the industry. As an entrepreneur, he founded Dotspotter, which was successfully acquired by CBS, and Dot & Bo, now part of Alibaba.
Currently, Anthony serves as Lead Independent Director at Spryker Systems, an enterprise PaaS company serving major clients including Toyota, Daimler, Siemens, Bosch, and ALDI. He is also on the board of Civio.ai as AI Fund’s board designee where he also serves as a Venture Advisor for the fund.
In 2023, Anthony received a Dean’s appointment as Entrepreneur-In- Residence at Harvard Business School. He started his career as a Product Manager at Apple.Anthony holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s from the University of California, Davis. He has been featured in Hollywood Reporter’s ‘Top 50 People in Digital Media’ and being listed as one of the ’19 Trailblazing Asian American Businesspeople’ by the Chicago Tribune. He also holds six patents including three in artificial intelligence.
