Avery is a seasoned financial executive with over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting.

Prior to Copper Sky, Avery was CFO at Shasta Ventures and has helped manage Shasta investments totaling $1.5 Billion. She started her career at Arthur Andersen and went on to work at several venture capital firms including Versant Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Francisco Partners, and Prospect Ventures. Avery is a member of the Board of the VCBC (a non-profit association of finance professionals in venture capital firms), is a CPA (inactive), and holds a B.A. in Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
