Tyler is a dedicated venture capital associate with a background in early-stage startups.

During his undergraduate program at Grand Canyon University, he was deeply involved in student entrepreneurship and investing. He spent four years leading Canyon Angels, a local angel investment network, and got his start in venture capital with a student-run venture fund that invested in student entrepreneurs. Passionate about mentoring the next generation, Tyler teaches a crash course on startup due diligence to student analysts at GCU.

Tyler has been with Copper Sky since 2022. As a Senior Associate, he sources and evaluates investment opportunities, provides operational and strategic support to portfolio companies, and builds relationships within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

In his free time, Tyler enjoys wake surfing in his hometown of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
