Tyler is a Principal at Copper Sky Capital, where he focuses on sourcing and leading new investments across early-stage software companies. He partners closely with founders on go-to-market strategy, capital planning, and operational scaling, and serves as a board observer across multiple portfolio companies.

Since joining the firm in 2022, Tyler has worked across vertical SaaS, fintech, and enterprise infrastructure investments. He is passionate about being a hands-on partner to founders on their path from seed through growth.

During his undergraduate studies at Grand Canyon University, Tyler was deeply involved in student entrepreneurship and investing. He spent four years leading Canyon Angels, a local angel investment network, and began his venture career in a student-run fund backing student founders. He continues to teach a crash course on startup due diligence and is committed to helping the next generation of founders and investors succeed.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys wake surfing in his hometown of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
